Shraddha Kapoor’s feminine beauty complements Sidharth’s rugged demeanour. The best part about the promo is that nothing looks out of kilter YET. The chemistry, the mystery, it’s all spot on.
The surprise package is Riteish Deshmukh; he just appears out of nowhere wearing extremely ordinary clothes and carrying a bag. And it’s so difficult to decipher who the villain is – is it Riteish who’s pulling the strings of all the evil things taking place in the movie or Sidharth is the brainchild behind all that sinister stuff, you just can’t figure! The movie also stars Amrita Puri and the Twitter bully Kamaal R Khan, but they are nowhere to be seen in the teaser.
I like the flow of the trailer, how it makes the transition from a sweet and subtle love story to a confused violent mess. It is shrouded in mystery and that’s what makes it interesting.
Shraddha also learnt how to ride a bike for the film and you can see her doing that with absolute effortlessness in one of the scenes. Malhotra, who we have only seen playing the cute stud-next-door in movies like Student Of The Year and Hasee Toh Phasee, impresses with those serious menacing expressions.
It feels like I am seeing Riteish on screen after ages. Of course he did a Grand Masti last year, but that’s one movie I gave a royal miss, and don’t ask me why. It’s a breath of fresh air to see him in an unusual role.
Expectations are super high from this flick…I hope this villain manages to send shivers down my spine!
