The babe revealed in a recent interview that it used to bother her big time when people would call her an ugly heroine. But over the years she has learnt to be comfortable in her own skin and be happy with the way she looks. Sharma, who recently completed 5 years in the industry, is ecstatic about being a part of the movie business which of course has its share of challenging ups and downs.
The babe came out in the open and cleared the air about a lot of things. Sharma was recently in the news for chucking Rajkumar Yadav out of NH10, as she took over as the producer of the film. But she denies the news and said that it’s utter hogwash. Anushka said that she knows the feeling when people don’t want you to be a part of a film, as she has experienced it herself. This is one of the reasons she would never be a part of the casting process.
On asking her which film was it, in which the makers weren’t exactly happy with her presence; she said without playing any diplomatic games that it was Badmaash Company. The director of the film Parmeet sethi wanted someone else for the project ‘cos he didn’t quite believe in her.
It’s impressive that the actor has made it this far despite coming from a non-filmy background, and is trying other domains in Bollywood as well, even after the trade gurus have discouraged her to do so. I don’t think she’s ugly for sure, what about you guys?
