Gossip birdies have been whispering stuff about Salman and Daisy around, and a lot has been spoken and written about their on and off screen chemistry. The two seem to share a great rapport.
While Khan won rave reviews from (only his fans) for Jai Ho, the superstar has kinda overshadowed Shah to an extent that she never quite had a chance to experience her moment of glory. But seems like Khan is ready to make up for that in more ways than one. The latest khabar is that Khan wants Sooraj Barjatya to cast Daisy in his next film. Now this is the same film in which Sallu and Deepika were supposed to work together. There was quite a hype created about Padukone agreeing to share screen space with SRK’s arch-enemy, and how everyone is looking forward to see the Jodi create magic together. But all that went down the drain as the Cocktail babe implied that she’s going to be busy with Imtiaz Ali’s film this year, so Barjatiya can either wait or cast some other hot babe.
Of course we all know that how it’s extremely important in today’s times to strike straightaway while the iron is hot. Sallu bhai thought of doing just that. He has been trying to convey to Barjatya that the ‘Deepika-out, Daisy –in’ decision might just work wonders for his film. But Deepika is Deepika after all na, matching up to her is like banging your head against a hard wall. But SK seems to be singing Daisy’s praises persistently and I won’t be surprised if he manages to convince Sooraj to cast Shah as the leading lady. And we all are pretty much aware of Sallu’s clout in the industry, so this doesn’t seem like an impossible task at all.
So be prepared to see the Jai Ho couple together again. And Barjatya will be directing a movie after ages, so expect the typical family drama and ‘rona-dhona and bharatiya riwaaz’. Daisy And Salman in a family blockbuster – Nay! doesn’t sound interesting to me at all, what about you?
