Prabhudeva’s R…Rajkumar hits the theatre screens on December 6. Until then hardcore Shahid Kapoor fans must see the hero sweating it out to get his dance moves right in the film. From Gandi baat to Saree ka fall, every song in the movie has this rustic, South Indian feel. And when it’s a combination of Prabhudeva’s desi dance ideas and Shahid Kapoor’s agile steps, you gotta expect some fireworks in the movie.
While Saree ka fall is shot in the beautiful Rann of Kutch, in Gandi baat you get to see the Kapoor kid shaking his leg energetically with his entourage. In the video, the director talks about some of the complicated steps which Sasha makes it look as if its cakewalk. The enjoyable moves, which make us want to thump our feet, actually require a great amount of practicing until the actor gets it right on screen.
Sasha is seen dancing as if there are no bones in his body. Also the way some of the steps are composed are quite interesting. The director tried to synchronise the meaning of the song Gandi baat with the steps, which is why Kapoor is seen slapping his forehead with a ‘gamcha’, and just to add a tad more spice, Prabhudeva asked Shahid to moonwalk along with it. The director has explained the concept behind the other steps in Gandi baat as well. It’s fun to see the crew slogging it out to create an entertaining dance number. Watch it for the super choreography; it will surely make you want to shake your booty…
