The actor has been offered a role to play Narendra Modi on screen. The movie is to be directed by a US based filmmaker Mitesh Patel, but Vivek hasn’t given his nod to the film yet; he is still thinking about the whole deal. The actor proved his potential as the sinister Kaal in Krrish 3. He won rave reviews for the way he went all wicked on the big screen.
Looks like his villainous act has done him some real good; offers have started to pour in and he has been given the golden opportunity of portraying the life of Narendra Modi – marking his journey from a tea stall owner to a successful politician.
While any other actor in his place would have killed to do the role, Mr Oberoi is still taking his own sweet time to ponder over this offer. BJP’s prime ministerial candidate is pretty much in the news every other day. He is the current hot topic in the controversial world of politics. Extracting a slice of his life on celluloid sounds like a lucrative venture even before the project has kick-started.
I think Mr Oberoi should be able to do complete justice to the role. He needs to control all that hamming though. He has been away from the limelight for a very long time; courtesy: brawl with superstar Salman Khan. This sounds like a cool second chance at getting his Bollywood career back on the fast track. We hope Oberoi takes a wise decision for a change!
