From multiple lippers to one-off sensual smooch, Bollywood has seen many such passionate ones onscreen. The latest couple to pucker up on the big screen is Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
In the song ‘Lahu Muh’ from ‘Ram-Leela’, the alleged real life lovebirds kiss passionately, after a round of seductive gestures. While Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s previous magnum opus ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ had then-lovers Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Salman Khan getting cosy, SLB’s latest venture sees Deepu and Ranveer going all out to proclaim their love for one another. Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor:
Aamir, who has puckerd up with most of his heroines, delivers it the best with Karisma Kapoor in ‘Raja Hindustani’. The rain-soaked couple, sharing a kiss under a tree forms the turning point of the story. It generated quite bit of flutter as the scene is rather long and sensuouly shot. The movie became a roaring hit and people still talk about that iconic kiss between the lead pair.
Anushka Sharma-Ranveer Singh:
In his debut movie ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’, Ranveer smooches Anushka after a drunken fit. The scene is one of the most aesthetically shot scenes of Bollywood and helps in taking the story forward. It’s a natural shot as the two end up kissing post ODing on Champagne. This is straight of college days when youngsters have puckerd up after binge-drinking.
Parineeti Chopra-Sushant Singh Rajput
Though they share many number of kissed in the movie ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, it’s their first kiss that sets our hearts racing. On a rickety bus to his wedding, the ‘dulha’ Rajput awkwardly kisses Parineeti, before going full French in the dimly-lit bus. Once again, the scene is kept natural and believable. Kudos to the director for capturing the pair’s initial hestitation so well. Happens to all of us, isn’t it?
Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori
In the box office debacle ‘Kites’, Hrithik seduces the Spanish beauty Barbara with a scintillating kiss. Their onscreen chemistry was so crackling, it gave rise to rumours about the two having an affair on the sets. In fact, Hrithik’s childhood sweetheart-turned-wife Suzanne even walked out of their home in a fit of rage. That one defining kiss between the two, when Hrithik is about leap off a clif is beautifully shot and perhaps is the highlight of the movie.
Mallika Sherawat-Emraan Hashmi
If we don’t include the ‘serial kisser’ of Bollywood on this list, we would be committing a grave crime! In his debut movie ‘Murder’, he plays the ‘other man’ in Mallika Sherwat’s life. The two share umpteen number of smooches in the movie, but our favorite is the one of the under the shower. It’s natural, well shot and is coated with oodles of sex appeal.
