In Bollywood, actors do not require a degree to get in. All you need is ‘acting skills’ and looks are also taken into consideration.

Today we have compiled a list of Bollywood and Hollywood stars who never finished their high school as they got their break in the film dom.

1. Kapoor Sisters

Kareena and her sister Karisma couldn’t finish their studies as for them Bollywood had always been their first calling. Kareena studied in Harvard University to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer but she left the school as soon as she got her first break in movies.

 

2. Amir Khan

Amir never attended college. At the age of 16, he got to know that he should venture in acting only. So he quit his studies and joined theatre group to pursue his dream.

 

3. Sonam Kapoor

The actress was quoted saying, “My biggest regret is I’ve not completed my studies. But I’m going to finish my graduation this year. I’m going to fill in the forms to get my undergraduate degree in literature. For me, it’s one of those things that I regret the most.”

Deepika Padukone had played super studious college girl in her movie Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani but the irony is she never completed her graduation.

This newbie of Bollywood never enrolled for higher studies after class twelve. He was preparing himself for career in Bollywood.

 

6. Kate Winslet

This Titanic star never graduated from high school. She was bullied in high school and dropped out at tender age of 16.

 

7. Quentin Tarantino

This ace director left high school at the age of 15. Later he joined acting classed and hopped on community theater.

 

     8. Jim Carrey

This famous comedian dropped out of school and went on to join a comedy club. Thank god Jim didn’t study further other wise we wouldn’t have such genius actor.

 

9. Johnny Depp

He dropped out of college to pursue career in music. Later on he went to become actor and was first seen in the movie called ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’.

 

    10. Cameron Diaz

This Hollywood Hottie was studying in Long Beach Polytechnical High school btut she left it as soon as she got a modelling contract. And since then there was no looking back to studies.
