The model created uproar and provoked controversy when she said, ‘I am Narendra Modi’s daughter’.
During an interview, Avani Modi was questioned for her surname ‘Modi’. Because Avani Modi shares her surname with one of the influential political figures, she was quick enough to say that Narendra Modi is her father. The 25-year-old model from Gujarat soon became a sensation on the social media platform for her hidden relationship with the Prime Minister.
Later, Avani Modi cleared the air saying she is not related to PM Narendra Modi but she is daughter just like any other Indian daughter. Here is what she said, “Narendra Modi is not related to me, but we share a stronger connection than that. I am Narendra Modi’s daughter. Not just me, every girl hailing from Gujarat is like Narendra Modi’s daughter.”
