Yamaha plans to re-organize its last year’s venture, the Yamaha Children Safety Program. This year the celebrations are going to be even bigger since it’s the first birthday of their popular mascot Zippy.
Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. has decided to organize a Yamaha Children Safety Program (YCSP) starting from January 9 across all its 120 authorized dealerships in India.
The company plans to host mega carnivals across India in celebration of the first birthday of their brand mascot- Zippy.
The mascot – Zippy was the first-of-a-kind Yamaha Children Safety Program (YCSP) initiative that was introduced last year by the company. The YCSP aims to impart road safety awareness information on roads among women and children. Proceeds from these awareness campaigns help children belonging to NGOs NirmalChhaya in Delhi and SOS Children’s Village in Chennai learn better about traffic rules and regulations.
In 2014, Yamaha organized similar YCSP activities across 706 schools around the country with participation from more than 242,000 students belonging to 121 cities.
The birthday carnival is set to take place across all authorized 120 Yamaha dealers in which families of Yamaha customers are eligible to participate.
The company has planned different activities to keep the children engrossed with fun.
They will be taught about road safety measures, also aiming to help them grow up to be disciplined citizens who follow road discipline.
The manufacturer planned this initiative of advocating road safety among kids to help nurture their minds at a young stage. With the help of their mascot Zippy, Yamaha successfully spread their intended message to lakhs of children and they plan to keep doing so as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Helping children learn good things at a young age is a very welcome initiative by this brand since this is the future generation of our country; their positive thoughts and disciplined outlook of the world helps society grow.
