The Congress party has sacked Tharoor from his post for praising Congress bloodline’s arch-enemy Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The bloodline that runs the Congress party never likes to see anyone speaking or walking ahead of them.
And the Congress men follow this rule to the ‘T’. Some of them have more intelligence and courage than this bloodline, but the one who shows such traits is banished.
So dramatic, yet true.
And the recent example of this is sacking of Congress spokesperson Shashi Tharoor.
Yes, you heard it right.
The Congress party has sacked Tharoor from his post for praising Congress bloodline’s arch-enemy Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The sycophants, remaining true to their color had taken strong objection to Tharoor’s continuous effusive praise of Modi, especially the Kerala unit of Congress. The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) leaders had demanded the high command to take appropriate action against him.
Tharoor has been a leader who had the special blessings of the Congress high command and hence accommodated by the KPCC. Although, his outspoken nature was never liked by the leaders.
Currently, Tharoor is dealing with his deceased wife Sunanda Pushkar’s autopsy reports which have freshly been released. He is out of the defined line and brackish waters. Interestingly enough, some leaders and a KPCC general secretary have come out in support of Tharoor in Sunanda Pushkar death case. However, this slightest sight of vulnerability gave them enough opening to maul him.
On the other hand, many believe that he is inching closer to rival BJP – a charge Tharoor has still now denied, vehemently. Firstpost put it clearly: A cartoon that was circulated widely in the social media showed him taking a “saffron bucket challenge”. The initial show of support for him, when he spoke for Swachh Bharat, by senior BJP leader O Rajagopal who fought against him in Thiruvananthapuram made people more suspicious.
However, no one paid attention when the same Rajagopal went to the court asking for Throor’s disqualification for allegedly filing an incomplete nomination form during Lok Sabha elections.
Tharoor is trapped between foes and friends who are not friends anymore.
