The International break is upon us as the weekends will be ‘dry’ without club football.

Yes, no Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool to watch out for on Saturdays or Sundays.

With the Euro qualifiers ongoing at the moment, the best a football fan can do is either support the likes of England at the Qualifiers (EPL frenzy) or do some crazy stuff (like normal weekends)!

If you still don’t find solace with the two options, well, here’s our 10 things to try during the international break for every die-hard EPL fan (sorry, we don’t entertain La Liga and Serie A)

1 – Play beach football
So if you hate the international break and miss the fun of EPL so much, here’s the deal – try it yourself! Yes, gather you’re friends around, pick a team, go to the beach and play ball. Life is more fun when you spend timeout with your friends especially meeting the same after a long time….err that’s because EPL won’t let you guys hangout that often!

2 – Read football-related books
If there are more reasons to be sad about no club football action, DO NOT WORRY! Hook onto the famous Roy Keane autobiography or some other football related novels and voila! The smile is back on your face again.

3 – Play FIFA 15 or other versions
With guys and gals having gaming consoles at their homes, let’s play the game. Another suitable option when no EPL fun is to try it out on your PS4 or Xbox with the latest FIFA 15. Bet, you haven’t touched the manager mode yet when you last played the game!

4 – Sport bars are helluva fun!
Take a timeout from slugging on your couches and hit the sports bars. Even if they are not broadcasting any live football games (err…that’s why we are here); hangout with your friends with some food and fun. Enjoy the karaoke nights and dance the night away!

5 – Revisit your club’s best games of the past
If you are missing the club action so much, then YouTube is the thing for you! Search for some old games, past memories, great goals, interviews etc. and relieve those golden moments of your club.

6 – Try Formula One, Tennis
If NO football then try viewing some F1 or Tennis action. The Formula One championship is headed towards a nervy finish with the likes of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton fighting out for the top spot whereas there is always room for a game of tennis a la Roger Federer!

7 – Football Today
For those hardcore EPL fanatics, Football Today is the right dose of remedy to forget the international break. Host John Dykes alongside some esteemed panellists discuss the talking points of some of the top EPL clubs.

8 – Movie, may be!
If weekends are lonely without EPL then try out some good movies. Check out the new movie that’s out on the weekend or perhaps open the laptop and try watching some of the movie collection.

9 – Club podcast can heal as well
The likes of Arsenal and Manchester United have fanzines and fanpages for their club’s fans. These sites also include podcasts where some devoted fans sit around and discuss their clubs’ strengths and weaknesses. Listening to these might just be a deal for you!

10 – Finally, write some stuff
If none of the above work, well, grab a piece of paper or a notepad and start writing something. May be about your club’s ambitions, favourite player, manager etc. all can come out with a piece of pen and a white sheet.
