“It was past 1 p.m. I was on a photo-walk at CST station with few friends, and was damn hungry. We found this McD nearby. Rushing towards it, as we reached the gate I saw this little girl begging outside McD, sitting exactly below their Happy Meal banner. I stopped right there and forgetting everything, took out my camera pointing at her and captured that awkward moment…a moment that shows the Irony of Life!
The photo won an award as well as got nominated for two.
I bunked 2 shoots and went to CST, before I left for the award function, only to find the girl at the same place.
She was there- same expression, same innocence…
I offered her food and a chocolate. She was happy. I was happy.”
