Just the way she likes to hear it, plain and blunt. After all Kajol is known to be a muh phut who, unlike her contemporaries, doesn’t live a double life. What’s in her mind is on her tongue, no pretensions, no hypocrisy! This Bong beauty has made her way into our hearts not just by her superlative performances but also due to her bindaas, I-don’t-care-a-damn attitude in life.
Obviously, we are going to love her!
This lady with the most heart-felt and infectious laughter in Bollywood has turned.. Err.. No, we are not going to reveal her age (bad manners, you know!)! All we can say is that with every passing year, she is looking younger, better and more beautiful! She doesn’t look like a mother of two kids at all! One of the reasons for that could be her absolutely sorted mind which has helped her in selecting kick-ass roles over the years. She has done cinema which was thoroughly commercial, but which also gave the heroine to showcase her talents. Kajol did show her acting prowess in each and every performance of hers and like how! It is not a small feat that she has won as many as six Filmfare Awards for Best Actress and still comes across as a modest girl next door.
Her golden phase started right from Baazigar, through one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, to My Name Is Khan! Some people might say that she acted with Shahrukh Khan, hence the success; but we would say it was due to her scintillating performances in each and every movie that she did with Shahrukh, that those became cult classics! It is not that her golden run is over; just that she has become extremely selective about doing work as her focus is more on family.
No doubt, acting runs in Kajol’s veins as she belongs to a family of actresses. Right from her great-grandmother, Rattan Bai, to her younger sister, Tanishaa Mukherjee, everyone has an acting bug implanted in them. But no one fires up the screen like Kajol does!
