Renault has launched a Limited Edition of the Duster at a price of Rs. 9.99 Lakhs, to commemorate the sale of 1 Lakh Duster units in India. This offer is valid for the month of June 2014 only …
On Monday, 2nd June 2014, Renault launched an exclusive Renault Duster Limited Edition for all the admirers of the Renault Duster.
The Renault Duster Limited Edition price is flat Rs. 9.99 Lakhs across the country.
This is a special gesture from the French carmaker to show its gratitude towards its patrons and celebrate the sale of 1 Lakh units in India. Renault plans to produce restricted units of this limited edition of the Compact SUV.
The car has done wonders for Renault, in terms of revenue figures. The model has also received good reviews worldwide and in the last 4 years, the automobile giant has sold over a million units across 100 countries.
The Renault Duster was among the first ‘Compact SUVs’ in India. With considerable space and enhanced features, the car gave tough competition to the large SUVs prevalent in the Indian market, and it soon overpowered all of them. Within a short span of 2 years, it has created a niche for itself in the Indian Auto Market.
The prevalent model is a lightweight compact SUV with several appealing features, including powerful petrol & diesel mills, premium safety equipment, enormous boot space of 475 litres, integrated audio player, and many more. The car has undoubtedly proved its worth by reaching the 1-Lakh milestone.
The Renault Duster Limited Edition exteriors, Renault Duster Limited Edition interiors, and the other significant Renault Duster Limited Edition features, are almost the same as the prevalent model.
On the launch, the Renault India Country CEO & Managing Director Sumit Sawhney said, “This will be a feature-loaded model and will be available only during June. We are keeping the price same across India at Rs 9.9 lakhs. We thank our customers for being the proud owners and helping for contributing Renault to reach this milestone in a record time.”
At the end of this year, Renault plans to launch a face-lifted 4×4 version of the Duster in India. The high-end diesel version equipped with a 1.5-litre dCi engine, is likely to get the all-wheel drive feature. Powered by a 6-speed manual gearbox, the car would yield 110 PS and 240 Nm of torque. This variant is already a hit in countries, such as, Ireland & the UK, and we expect it to get a warm welcome in India too.
We eagerly look forward to this face-lift model and we convey our heartiest congratulations to Renault for its achievement. We hope to see the company reach many more milestones soon
