Malaika Arora-Khan: (MISS)
The yummy mummy of Bollywood rarely gets it wrong. So we were a little surprised when she was spotted at a recent event in a white Pankaj and Nidhi appliqué gown. The lady matched her coral pumps to her statement necklace, which are hidden behind her hair. We wish she had worn her hair in an elegant high pony and let the necklace add some pop to her dull outfit. She should have introduced some colour way of her lips too. This look just didn’t cut it for us, what about you?
Tanisha Mukherjee: (MISS)
Between the fabric of her mermaid Harsh Harsh dress and the atrocious hair, the starlet didn’t stand much chance. Did she? But really makes this one of the worst outfits ever is her choker. We don’t know what sort of shoes she was wearing, but judging by her gown…it wouldn’t have been anything to write home about. We just hope she burns this gown right away and throws hides the choker at such a place that it would never be found. This is a BIG MISS for us.
Sonam Kapoor: (HIT)
She is called the high priestess of fashion for no reason. The embellished pumps, Dolce and Gabbana outfit with a lot of a bling thrown in and gold accessories on her ears and hands…my! This would have looked overwhelming on someone else, but Sonam knocks it off the ballpark. We love the elegant updo, the pop colour on her lips and the shiny details on her D&G dress. This is probably a look we would never try out, but we love it nevertheless.
Swara Bhaskar: (MISS)
We do like her bold Lecoanet And Hemant top, but somehow it looks too jarring on her. May be it’s the red lips and statement matching earrings and pumps. We don’t what it’s that we dislike about this look, but we do hate it. The Zara pencil skirt looks rather misplaced with the bold top and shiny accessories. The bling overdose that looked so fabulous on Sonam, looks too desperate on Swara. Ouch. The talented actress should fire her make-up artist first, followed by her designer.
Sonakshi Sinha: (HIT)
Although slippers shouldn’t be worn with ANY outfit, Sonakshi did look nice in this simple ASOS dress. So we will give this round to her. The no-fuss hair, clean make-up and the cheery prints are all in favour. Wish she had worn strap-ons or tie-ups instead of her slippers and she would have been our favourite celeb spotting this week. But it’s definitely a huge improvement from her earlier outfits, so we are not complaining!
