Aamir attracted his share of slings and arrows too. A certain section of the audience and critics thought that he was being unnecessarily sentimental on national television and that didn’t really serve any purpose in solving real issues.
There was also a lot written about how Aamir is not exactly finding any real solutions but just harping and debating on them. I wonder if the second season #SatyamevJayate2 is going to please the angry and dissatisfied souls. I hear Khan has made sure he hires a special research team which consists of much lesser members than the last season. And he has made sure only a handful of them are core members so that not much spreads around about his episode before it is aired.
There are a lot of new developments happening for the second season. The makers have roped in Mohanlal for being the brand ambassador of the show. The strategy is to increase awareness about the show in the South.
Well, I must say that’s a rather smart move.
The show #SatyamevJayate2 will be premiered on March 2 and the promos have started doing the rounds of the tube already.
In one of the trailers Khan is seen standing in his balcony and noticing passers-by breaking traffic rules. They are the ones who won’t be watching the show, the ones who follow rules and are worried about the country will watch his show, he says in a rather meditative tone.
