When Akshat Singh from Kolkata appeared on the prestigious Ellen DeGeneres show, he had absolutely no qualms in confessing that he loves hogging along with all that grooving and booty-shaking. Singh is a semi-finalist in India’s Got Talent. He won a huge round of applause when he performed on IGT, and of course what trailed behind were a series of loud hooting and whistling.
Despite his weight, Akshat is super flexible and agile. From cartwheels to those jaw dropping full splits, Singh literally blows you away with his enthusiasm and charisma. Even Ellen couldn’t stop wiggling her shoulders when the 8-year-old stepped on stage, all set to enthrall the audience with his ‘Dabangg style dancing’.
Akshat was accompanied by an interpreter, but looks like he didn’t really need one. He pretty much managed to answer Ellen back in English, and even though he wasn’t very fluent, his confidence made up for all those trivial language flaws.
DeGeneres and Singh hugged it out like a million times. He was also gifted a stylish kiddie motorbike by the host with his name imprinted on the front fairing. Singh looked delighted as he accepted his gift with that big boy kinda humility.
I wonder what Salman Khan’s reaction will be if he gets to see his li’l fan shaking a leg on an international platform, in his style and on his songs. Since Sallu bhai loves kids, I am sure he will be in awe of the kid’s talent.
