Well, even the first part starring Rajkumar Rao and Kainaz Motivala was high on sex and all that jazz, but with Sunny Leone’s presence in the sequel, this film is obviously a notch higher in the erotica department.
The film revolves around how the Ragini MMS case has caught the fancy of a filmmaker who wants to make a movie on the same subject. Sunny is the sexy siren chosen by the director of course to play the protagonist of his movie. Even Ekta Kapoor’s ‘once upon a time’ blue eyed gal Anita Hassnandani stars in this horror flick; she will be seen on the big screen after a long time.
Sunny is seen going the whole hog, bringing her sensual self to the fore. She is seen in her itsy-bitsy bikinis and cleavage revealing ensembles. Now all this is cakewalk for Leone. If she’s really serious about acting and making a mark in Bollywood, she should make sure she doesn’t get stereotyped. Just because she has been an adult star doesn’t mean she should be made to shed clothes in every movie. Jism 2 and now Ragini MMS 2, she is turning into a ‘stripping’ cash cow for every director.
The filmmakers are already putting her in a mould, and honestly she’s doing absolutely nothing to break it, well…not yet!
Don’t know if Rgaini MMS 2 is really going to send the shivers down the spine. More than the ghost, Sunny’s sexy bod seems to be the highlight of the film.
The movie releases on March 21 and also stars Parvis Dabbas, Sandhya Mridul and Divya Dutta. But going back to the question, will Ragini MMS help Ms Leone make it big in Bollywood? About that, I really doubt. She is yet to speak decent Hindi; she is yet to prove that she knows a lot more than unzipping her corset and flashing a seductive expression…
