The actor is worried about the fact that his movie One By Two releases on 31 Jan and music being an integral part of the film, T-series hasn’t bothered to launch the songs of the film yet.
The actor has never shied away from taking a stand on relevant issues. So recently when a famous music company like T-Series gave Abhay a tough time, the actor decided to take his sweet revenge by appearing with a black eye in an award function. The black eye may be artificial make-up, but it managed to convey the message to the music giants about his creative sign of protest.
The actor is worried about the fact that his movie One By Two releases on 31 Jan and music being an integral part of the film, T-series hasn’t bothered to launch the songs of the film yet. Since Deol is the producer of the movie, there’s of course a lot at stake. But the music company is not exactly in a mood to co-operate.
T-Series has been asking the musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan- Loy to sign a contract with a clause, now that’s acting as a major hindrance between releasing the music of the film. Of course Deol is concerned about not adequate buzz being created around One By Two, but he also seems to have taken up the onus to speak on behalf of all musicians who are forced to sign such a contract that’s against the law. Deol is in favour of creative people and he is urging other producers too, to voice their concerns against music companies that end up exploiting artists.
There’s just a teeny-weeny hint of suspicion in my head if all this brouhaha is genuine. You know how you keep hearing about actors coming up with all sorts of whacky ideas to promote their films these days. But if all this drama genuinely for a cause, then I protest too, but sans the black eye please!
