The actor has been saying in an overconfident tone in all his interviews that a movie like Dhoom: 3 doesn’t need a big star like Aamir Khan. Call it a stinging feeling of envy or plain complacency, Abhishek Bachchan has been giving quotes that clearly reflect that the actor is not going to accept any remarks that belittle him as an actor. He recently also said that he created the most Dhoom in the film. His promotional activities have been about blowing his own trumpet in the highest possible decibel level. He also went on to say that Uday Chopra and he are the real heroes of the film and nothing can change that. “Dhoom won’t be what it is without Jai and Ali,” he declared in a ‘not so modest’ tone.
Dhoom doesn’t need any star, I am the hero of the film – statements like these, where’s all this stemming from? If you remember the actor was not involved in the marketing promotions of the film initially. Looks like that hasn’t gone down too well with Jr Bachchan, and he simply can’t stop sulking.
In fact when Abhi was asked that why was he kept away from the promotions, he said that he doesn’t have an iota of clue about it and that the media should ask the marketing honchos and not him.
With Aamir hogging a great deal of limelight, how do you even expect AB baby to chill. But unfortunately that’s the bitter truth Mr Bachchan, the gorgeous gymnast has managed to rob you and Ali from the experience of basking in a few seconds of fame.
