The actor, instead of being in the spotlight as Dhoom:3 is going to release very soon, is under the scanner for his ‘out-of-the-world’ tweets and his presence in a Bollywood film after almost a decade. Kamaal R Khan, who’s himself the subject of ridicule most of the time, has also been taking potshots at the actor unabashedly. He recently wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter that if he was in Uday’s place in Dhoom: 3, the film would have had made a profit of more than Rs 300 crores. Now that’s very modest, Mr Khan.
But apart from Kamaal, even famous publications and tabloids are not leaving the golden chance of attacking the Chopra dude with a sarcastic remark or two. A Sunday mag of a popular newspaper recently commented about how the actor has been served everything on a golden platter. Since Uday will be now busy focusing on the Los Angeles branch of YRF entertainment, the magazine wrote that how he has been extremely lucky to have a backup career option, even though he failed miserably in his acting job.
Uday has also been tweeting about his retirement plans. Well even though he has been saying that in jest, people are leaving no stone unturned in laughing back at him.Reason: You need to have a solid career to retire in the first place, right?
