Mardaani, which is to be directed by Pradeep Sarkar, of the Parineeti fame, is a film in which the Bong bombshell will be seen stepping into the tough shoes of a cop. I can already imagine the babe sashaying around with a gun in her holster and cracking the whip on the evil gundas around.
Will she be the female (read Dabangg) version of Salman Khan or will it be a serious role? No clue about that yet, but what we know is that Adi has rejected many drafts of the script till now, only because he wants his sweetheart’s film to be nothing less than perfect. Rani was last seen playing a sexy entertainment editor in Bombay Talkies. Since the frequency of her films hasn’t been that great, we really wonder if beau Adi Chopra is trying really hard to get his babe back to the topmost rung of the ladder.
And since the buzz is that Rani and Adi will tie the knot in February, looks like the actor wants to create a dhamaka at the box office before she gets busy again to enjoy the blissful moments of her marital life. We wait for the Mardaani to crack it and kill it on the bada parda…
