Actor George Clooney only has words of praise for his friend and actress Sandra Bullock. He is happy that she has managed to stir up a buzz for an Oscar with her performance in “Gravity”.
“Isn’t she great,” he said here at the AFI Film Festival premiere of “August: Osage County” here recently.
“I’ve known Sandy (Sandra) for – she doesn’t want me to say – over 25 years,” he added.
Clooney, 52, who is close to Bullock’s three-and-a-half-year-old son Louis, has stood by Bullock since their struggling days. He has seen her through her tough days, including her divorce from husband Jesse James in 2010.
“She’s a really dear friend. So watching how this year has gone for her – and she’s had tough years before – has been great,” he said.
