Twitter reactions on Modi note ban – In the evening of 9/11/2016, when the whole world was discussing the USA elections, PM Modi played the role of thunder stealer and took away all the limelight from US in just one statement.
He dropped the bomb on all black money holders declaring that the money they have in their house stored in the forms of Rs.500 and 1000 notes, is not worthy anymore.
By banning the notes of 500 and 1000, he made sure that those who have stored the money in cash at home which is not in the eyes of government, will be obsolete in just 2 days.
He declared that new notes will be issued on 11th November and until then, we cannot use the old notes. Though a lot of people supported the decision of our PM because it’s for our country’s good, there were some who had major issues with the same.
People ran towards the ATMs to withdraw money in form of Rs.100 notes and deposit their money so that they are save from the problem. Everyone was tensed on how the economy will work in these 2 days when not even a single ATM will work across India and the banks will be shut down for a day.
It came out as a surprise because all people had were just few hours to get their money issues sorted.
Now, some people liked it, some understood it and some panicked very hard. I am sure, whichever side you are on, you will be interested in looking at those reactions.
Here, have a look at some of the twitter reactions on Modi Note Ban that show how this ban impacted people.
