Alright! Firstly I’ll admit that we all have good and bad habits.
But there are some habits which are not appropriate when we are working. Wondering, why? Well, because it can affect the career and it will also make you feel disaster about yourself.
Okay answer yourself- Have you ever felt like there’s something missing in your work-life? Or have you felt like why there’s no growth in my career yet? Frankly we all stumble upon such questions and sometimes when we are busy finding fault in our work-life; the actual fault turns out to be in ourselves.
I’ve gone through my case and I’ve changed the bad habits into good. Now it’s your TURN.

- Body-language
If you’re working in a good reputed company don’t you think they expect professionalism from your side? Professionalism that includes being attentive, full of creative and good body language etc.
If you’re already lacking into doing these things then your reputation is turning out to be bad.
- Making Too Much Excuses
If you’re keener into making excuses about everything then it’s a thumb down. Frankly, these excuses can cost you your job so be smart and accept the task as it comes.
- Gossiping
In office, gossiping is the top-most bad habit. Understand one thing-anything that you share or gossip about your colleague is never a secret.
- Complaining
Well, complains never ever end. Agree? If you agree then let me tell you the “complaining factor” can turn your work-life into hell. If you’ve problems; deal with it and make it right and avoid being a complain master.
- Faking Yourself
Just to impress your boss don’t go on faking yourself because it can later act as a burden on you. Faking is undoubtedly a bad habit because it not only leaves you in a wrong task but it also makes you feel disaster about yourself.
Do what you’re good at.
- Tantrums
Too-much-tantrums can literally show you the goodbye door. Bursting anger like a young child doesn’t seem appropriate at all so don’t do it. If you’re unable to handle task ask for help but don’t let your frustration ruin the good vibes.
- Distraction
Being attentive in meetings is very important.
Suppose your boss ask you to repeat what he said and if you’re unable to do it; don’t you think it’ll create a bad impression? So try hard to focus on what’s going on around you while working.
- Sluggish
If you’re sluggish then you certainly need to change it. Lacking energy and responding slowly is not a good habit at-least when you’ve to present your work quickly.
Be active in whatever you’re doing and speed up.
