- Malai and veggies
What you need:
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small cucumber, grated
1 ½ tbsp malai (milk fat)
A pinch of black pepper
Black salt to taste
4 slices of bread, cut out the corners if you want
How to make:
- Combine onion, cucumber and malai in bowl and mix well. Add pepper and salt.
- Spread evenly on the slices to make two sandwiches. Enjoy.
- Tomato and cheese
What you need:
1 small tomato, finely sliced
2 slices of cheese
4 slices of bread
2 tsp butter or olive oil
A pinch of black pepper
A pinch of oregano (optional)
Salt to taste
How to make:
- Put tomato slices on the bread to make two sandwiches. Sprinkle oregano, salt and pepper. Add cheese slices, one on each.
- Heat oil/butter in a pan and toast the sandwiches, pressing from time to time, till the cheese melts slightly. Enjoy.
- Jam, cheese and oregano
What you need:
Jam of your choice of flavour, enough to be spread on four slices
1 tsp oregano
2 slices of cheese
4 slices of bread
A pinch of black pepper
2 tsp oil or butter for toasting
How to make:
- Spread jam evenly on all the bread slices. Add one cheese slice, and sprinkle oregano and pepper, between two slices of bread to make two sandwiches.
- Heat oil/butter in a pan and toast till the cheese melts slightly. Enjoy.
Tip: You can even make four open sandwiches.
